Battle of the Bands 2025 will be Saturday, October 11th!

Boomtober Fest - Live @ the Dome ~ Battle of the Bands is a high-energy music competition held in Borger, Texas during Boomtober Fest, the second weekend of every October. Featuring talented bands from across the United States, this competition offers a chance for emerging artists to showcase their skills, win cash prizes, and gain exposure. With a diverse lineup of musical styles, the Battle of the Bands promises an exciting and unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages. In order to qualify, you must be active on Spotify, or a similar verified music streaming service. The music you submit for consideration must be original; however, you are permitted to perform up to one cover during your allotted time frame if you are chosen for the lineup. In 2024, we chose 5 bands. For 2025, we're looking to have 10 bands, allowing for more variety. This is a FREE community event, open to all ages of the public. Boomtober Fest as a whole is funded by Hotel Occupancy Tax, so of course we want you to come stay the weekend with us! Heck, bring the whole family! Win, lose, or draw, the Battle of the Bands will give you the opportunity to network with other bands, and generate new fans/followers. If chosen as a top 10 finalist, you will be allotted a travel stipend to help get you and your band here, in addition to having your food/drinks covered all Saturday long. Last but not least, this is a competition! There will be winners and there will be losers. The top 10 selection alone is extremely competitive. If you can't handle that, don't register. Once selected as a top 10 candidate.... a panel of 5 judges, all from musical backgrounds, is all that stands between you and cash prizes!
